MY BACKGROUND

My name is Nicole Laframboise and I have had a dear love of horses for over 40 years, beginning at the age of 8, riding as much possible.  Having the opportunity to train and compete in dressage, cross country, and hunter/ jumper for my entire life of horses, including living in Dubai and having an incredible competitive showjumping experience there.

In 1995 I was certified through the CHA for instruction in English and Western disciplines, then taught and competed with students at a couple of riding schools from 1993-1999. I was then trained and certified in Trigger Point Myo-Therapy in 1997.  From 1998 - 2000 I galloped horses at Woodbine Race Track , and created a business in Ontario in 1998 shortly after returning from competing in the 1998 US Nationals for hunter and jumper on the Arabian Circuit.
A traveler at heart there were many years spent moving in and out of the horse world while traveling and gaining experiences in various parts of the world, my husband and I finally settled in Slocan, BC where I have worked on developing Valkyr Equine Services and Stables.
The goal of this practice is to bring relaxation to horse and rider.  My main focus is on posture with the added healing benefits of essential oils, an equine and human BEMER device, sure foot pads and laser light therapy.  Working to create this state to help proper relaxation, healing, relieving oxidative stress, and finding a comfortable working posture that helps both rider and horse to work together in unison.
Currently studying and implementing introductions of the Balance Through Movement Method™ .
